Set piece goals count the same as goals from crazy defensive blunders. In fact in big games the ability to score from we pieces seems to me like a massive plus.

IMO Giroud is as useless as the proverbial t*tts on a bull when we play away from goal/deep as when we don't dominate possession, and when he doesn't have his close supporting cast in attendance.
Giroud excels when we play Wengerball tiki-taka in the final 3rd.

Think we've averaged less than 50% possession since we hit decent form.

Given the relative form of the players, surely you'd be mad to want anyone other than Giroud starting at centre forward, presuming he's had a few days rest.

He's talking about tiki-taka in and around the box, as opposed to the entire strategy. Case in point, 2 of the goals we scored against West Ham.

Qs had it right. No, Giroud wouldn't have nicked the ball and gotten Welbeck's goal against United, but he would've created or been involved in other chances during that match.

Not without his supporting cast around him he doesn't as in the NLD.

We've never played that way prior to Giroud as CF.
Greedy was good with the ball on his chest but we've never looked to play a typical Target Man type with the ball in the air as an outball option.
We're continuing to dumb down our play to the lowest level of our players.

And yet again he passed the ball to the opposition as much as to our players. He was pretty awful apart from that lucky goal.

Lucky in the sense that it all started with him missing a chance, and assisting the goal with his face. The finish was great, yeah.

It was the same as the first game imo, except this time he scored one of his many chances.
