I think it would need an adjustment throughout the team, but it would be better than what we've got right now. Biggus is right that our style is entirely dependent on a big target man, but that's actually a weakness and not a strength. Especially when you invest £80 million in guys like Özil and Sanchez. You need to play to their strengths, not to Giroud's strenghts.
That's Wenger's fault and not Giroud's, though. Blaming the manager who has made us completely reliant on a type of striker who renders our best players less effective and praising said striker for doing well individually are not two mutually exclusive points.
