Trump is not an idiot. He is cleverly manipulating the media. He's good for the political system, because he says what he thinks and he is the result of a genuine democratic movement. He represents what a lot of americans think. Politicians in western countries have been isolated from the voters, in the sense that they are no longer representatives of movements (labor, women, farmers, small business, conservatives etc). They are "clubs" of professional politicians, who have barely had a real job their entire life. Sanders represents some of the same, though a very different set of political ideas. This phenomenon is seen throughout the western world, where the far left and right are booming.
He won't win though. Pretty sure Clinton will win.
