I understood that, I meant I'm disgusted by how the Tories act surprised and repulsed all of a sudden by the Saudi's treatment of their prisoners when they've been supporting their despotic regimes for decades.
@Burns, of course the ones to pull the trigger (most likely pro-Russian separatists) have to shoulder some of the blame as well, although as even the report states the Ukraine is to blame for not completely shutting down the airspace above the country as well. However the eastern Ukraine was and is a battlefield and surface-to-air missiles are definitely to be expected there, you could even play devil's advocate for the Russian militants and say they had shot down a Ukrainian military transport a few days before the MH17 crash, who's to say that new plane isn't bringing new weapons for Yatsenyuk's fascist forces in the West? Malaysia Airlines carries the most blame for me, they knew well enough what was going on in the area and decided against common sense to save a few litres of fuel.
By the way, this might be cynical as well but it's just a fortunate coincidence that a Lufthansa aeroplane which flew over the exact same area 15 minutes before the MH17 wasn't shot down instead, otherwise we might have had a further escalation in the Eastern Ukraine, what with most German politicians long clamouring for war with Russia.
