Mostly psychology all of this. Benteke has at least three attributes that makes him similar to some of our worst signings:

He's a big forward

He's expensive

He comes from a mid-table (hrm) PL club.

No wonder Benteke gives me bad vibes. Meanwhile Firmino is a Brazilian from Bundesliga, which makes me think of Can and Coutinho.

Now that it's practically a done deal, one has to look for positives to feel well. That's not too difficult either. For one, I like that we have a fellow Belgian in Mignolet. If Benteke would have been a jerk off stage, we would know about it.
