Great man management from Rodgers there, now hanging Balotelli out to dry because he doesn't press like the rest of his players. Fair play if he gets him to change but why not actually buy a player renowned for it rather than someone not known for it and then expect them to change?

A lot of their fans aren't entirely too impressed with Rodgers at the moment but he is very good at selling them dreams. He's probably as delusional as them as well so they can relate to him.

Balotelli only have himself to blame for going to that nuthouse in the first place, but you can't help but feel for him at the same time. He needed a move to get stability and trust from a good manager. Instead he ended up with Brentan and taking notes from Rickie Lambert in training.

Rodgers' comments on Balotelli there weren't as bad as the scouring he gave him earlier in the season. Probably because they really have given up on Mario.

Must be frustrating managing Liverpool. They were in for Sanchez in the summer but he chose us, if he hadn't they'd probably be ahead of us now.

I remember Rodgers saying he is top class when he signed him. How times have changed.

I have never thought he was worth the trouble, but you must also say he is terribly mismanaged at Liverpool despite all his failings

He's a hideous twerp, but they still like him and think he deserves time. Hasn't done that badly this season to be honest, but top four is looking difficult with us hitting form.
