Brendan Rodgers has managed to get liverpool playing football like arsenal used too. I hope he never sorts out the issues at the back or they will push on.

I rather believe that voodoo magic by John Henry in the depths of Anfield is responsible for their performances than give credit to Rodgers. Just can't wrap my mind around the possibility he's any good.

He's a very good coach. He identifies his system, and gets his players to work well within it.

He's an okay coach. Dime a dozen manager with a bit of tactical training but not the intelligence to craft his own systems and solutions. Liverpool are not going to be better than they are now under his management.

glad we kept alexis out of their clutches. they'd have used him very well. both sides at their best, i think we just about shade them. their forward line is much better than ours though.

2 spots and 5 points? Not sure the argument that winning the FA Cup makes you better than every team in the country bar the champions really holds up. They don't look much different this season, and neither do we in truth.

Think our only chance for the title this season was for the defence to carry us, but we used up all of our defensive luck last campaign. Losing Sagna and the inevitable drop in form for Mertesacker and Koscielny was always going to be costly.

I think we can say that Liverpool is currently a better team than ours misfunctioning one. Hoping that we can change our shape and go back to our levels.

Rodgers is a good manager. Said he was a good appointment when he signed for Liverpool, which pretty much makes me the next best thing after Tim.

Brenton's also a MASSIVE tit though. That 'joke' the other day, ffs.

We had a better season than Liverpool last season. 5 points is less than 2 wins and we played in the CL and won a cup. Liverpool have lost Suarez and not added any real top class players. They're relying on Sterling to maintain his incredible form. Thats a big ask of a lad his age who's going to start getting a lot more attention from opposition managers now Suarez is gone.

I'm still confident we'll finish above Liverpool and United.
