No extra matches for them. Just realized it's just the premier league for their final stretch

Mmmmm definitely won't regret that in a few years time.
Rodgers will get sacked next season.
They will find it hard to cope with the fixture list next year if they get to Europe again. Their squad has been down to bare bones as it is this year, had they been in Europa they would have -10 points less.
This gif shows the Brenton variant and was captured by Gunnersaurus.
@JWTelegraph Recall @ronnieo147 saying 18mths ago that #lfc could win PL if they worked wth steve peters. Seemed outlandish then. V smart move by Hodgson

He is referring to the psychiatrist Steve Peters who is going to work with England. Steven Gerrard also speaks very highly of him and he did work with the British Cycling team during the Olympics and Ronnie O'Sullivan, all of them seem to have done quite well out of it.
Think the mental side of the game is something not really talked much about among fans but very important, if a player loses belief in himself it can be hard to recover even if physically he/she in in optimum condition.
We certainly have some mentally weak players and manager, and could do with someone like him.
You can accuse Wenger of many things, but mentally weak certainly isn't one of them.
Wenger's problem has always been not having a squad with enough depth, you can be mentally as strong as you like but when we have players out we don't have good enough options.
I do have my concerns about some of the staff we have mainly fitness, sometimes a change can do good. Liverpool use this guy and it seems to have worked well for some players so maybe we should think of bringing someone in or if we already have someone maybe change them. Problem is Wenger is fiercely loyal to his staff, especially those who have been around for a while.

The team comes out against most of the big teams with a loser attitude and under prepared, we lose points in so many of them, the two man u games this season being an example.
Record aginst Tottenham, Liverpool, United, Chelsea, Napoli, Dortmund, Everton, Bayern and City this season:
W6, D2, L6
Seems pretty standard to me.
http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/mar/04/liverpool-financial-fair-play-50m-annual-loss-accounts
Liverpool made a £50m loss in the 2012-13 financial year, according to the club's annual accounts. The figures, for the year to 31 May 2013, show that the club made an operating profit of £15m but were pushed into the heavy loss by the writing down of players' contracts, an accounting requirement, and a £13m loss on the sale of players. The £50m loss, which follows £41m reported for a ten-month period to 31 May 2011, appears to put Liverpool's total loss very much higher than the €45m (£37m) total permitted by Uefa for this two-year period under its financial fair play rules. The club, which stated that the figures show it is making "good progress" financially, did not comment on whether it is likely to be considered in breach of FFP when Uefa assesses clubs in the next two months. The rules do, however, include exemptions Premier League clubs expect to rely on in order to pass, including expenditure on youth development, stadium and other infrastructure, which Uefa encourages, and an allowance for players' contracts entered into before the rules came into force in 2010.

Would be amusing if they qualified for the CL and were then denied entry due to FFP regulations.
A £91m loss in less than 2 years of monitoring.
If anything, Wenger is too confident in his philosophy. Mentally weak people tend to be easily swayed, and Wenger is NEVER swayed by anything.
Its only going to get worse with the big contracts they're handing out to keep players. I'd expect a massive raise for Sturridge pretty soon too.
40 - 50M for two years. They should be able to find enough outs from that requirement by discounting old contracts and calling everyone homegrown. It doesn't seem like a massive hurdle to overcome
£54m difference although that's for 22 months rather than 24.
They won't even be assessed apparently, neither will Monaco. Only those who are in the competition this season will be assessed.
Define mental weakness? I think its a bag of shit, but Wenger certainly lacks something in big matches as a manger.
His teams have choked final both at monaco and arsenal, we could do with someone to work on making players mentally prepared for the tough shit but that would take power away from the manager, something that isn't going to happen.

A great squad.
