Fair point about Liverpool this season is that they are totally rested due to zero European games. Loads of practice and loads of rest, its brought the best out of everyone but they will have to turn up after playing a European fixture. Not that they are newcastle in anyway but look what happened to them after they finished in the Europa places. Playing European football makes the league twice as hard and shows how well the big teams have to managed squads and performances over the course.
They will still be in the mix come the end of the season as they have a WC player and enough backing for him but the real test will be putting in top 4 performances with European games on their backs.
