As arsenal fans we should know a world class striker can get you top 4 maximum not titles by himself. Liverpool have no chance.

All this Liverpool love and not a mention of Coutinho?! Kid seems to be finding form too and ensures airfield with Henderson/Lucas isn't one dimensional.
Coutinho is a joy to watch
Yeah he's a cracking little player. I remember I caught a cameo from him for Inter in the CL a few years ago and the talent was obvious straight away.
Coutinho has 1 goal and 1 assist in 10 Premier League starts so far this season. He's talented but he's done fuck all in his career up to this point.
Azerbaijan- Land of fire.
Is that supposed to be a invitation for tourism and investment?

It's fucking pathetic isn't it. 😆
The Sunday Express aim to strike fear into Liverpool supporters as it’s revealed that Luis Suarez’s new Liverpool contract is not as watertight as fans may have hoped. Since news broke on Friday afternoon that Luis Suarez has penned a new deal at Anfield, there have been a series of stories talking about the details of the agreement. Suarez will become the highest-earner in Liverpool history from next season as the Uruguayan will receive £200,000-a-week until 2018. It is also understood that Liverpool have included a massive £100 million release clause, however the Sunday Express’s John Richardson claims that the striker may have a trap door to leave Liverpool is the Reds fail to meet his expectations. Richardson reports: Liverpool will have to grab a place in the Champions League to ensure Luis Suarez remains at Anfield despite the striker having signed a new mega contract. [Suarez] has maintained his obsession to play Champions League football and insisted on a clause being inserted which allows him to leave if Brenadan Rodgers’ side fails to finish in the top four.

£100m? He won't be going anywhere then. No one will pay that.
No! Theres still hope Luis' Arsenal DNA will prove too strong and he'll be back where he belongs next season.

Why not? When he wins PFA player of the year, Real, Barca, Monaco will fall over themselves to activate that release clause.
Well I'm sure we'll put in our 2 cents.
That ship has sailed. Kudos to Wenger for trying last summer. We need to bring in Diego Costa or equivalent so we can forget about this cannibal
Pretty sure the £100m only applies if they reach the CL. I'd imagine it is significantly lower if they don't. That interpretation is the only one which makes sense to me. I'd also think that the pay rise is from right now, and that Suarez was desperate to get a proper release clause in there. Those would be his motivations I reckon.
Is that confirmed? Why would anyone sign such a contract? Doesn't make sense to me at all.
EDIT: It may, if the 'trap door' release clause is significantly lower.
From what I read his salary will jump up this season but increment further up next season.
Wonder how much he's bet on Liverpool winning the league?

The 'trap door' release clause will be lower than the £100 million one, yes. It can only be activated if they miss out on Champions League though. The other release clause is free for all. Wouldnt't surprise me if Real were to activate it.
Well, Suarez did say that he wanted CL football; I guess that means he doesn't care too much whether it is with Liverpool or somewhere else.
