His injury is not good news for us. Liverpool are no threat to us and as lagos said we need them to take points from Chelsea and City. I'd prefer them finishing 4th ahead of Spuds and United, Everton would be my obvious choice but can't be too picky.

not convinced. the top teams are dropping points against the Villas and Cardiffs of this world.
i'd rather see Liverpool banged up and out of the title picture. right now, two bad results against City and Chelsea could see us competing with both those teams, Everton and Liverpool before month end.

Liverpool will finish top four this year. Goals get you towards the top and for me they will be more of a threat than chelsea unless (until) they buy their world class striker.

If he passes the Shearer/Cole goals scored milestone maintaining this form, it'll obviously have to be considered as a possibility for the greatest season by a PL striker.

let him go a whole season at this pace, then we can have that conversation. but he's certainly put himself in the Shearer/Cole/RVP-levl conversation

I'd be amazed if he doesn't get himself banned again in the frustration of Liverpool's eventual and inevitable demise this season.

They've offered Suarez a new contract apparently, want to make him the highest paid player in Liverpool's history.

Rumours that Gerrard has some kind of clause which always makes him the highest earner at the club, so he'd also be getting a wage bump as a consequence.
