On one hand you just want them all to disappear such is the stupidity and unmatched self-righteousness they're capable of. On the other hand it's absolutely comedy gold at times.. out popped a smiling Glen Johnson afterall..

It's been mentioned a few times but there really is something intangibly, yet distinctly, creepy about Rodgers.
I see he's been talking up the Sturridge and Suarez partnership, it'll be more than annoying if they both start scoring consistently.

It's the hypocrisy of it all. Like how he, prior to his first match in charge, a preseason game, stands up and says with a straight face that this is the most important game of his career and that Liverpool's fans are the best fans in the world. It's like something straight out of a teambuilding video from hell. He just seems like the worst kind of person to me. It's that conniving, cringing insincerity that you often get from people who are trying to make a career in management. You just want to punch them in the face until they stop moving. People joke that he talks like David Brent but that's exactly who he reminds me of. Full of ill-conceived wisdom that he partly has read somewhere else and taken out of context, partly makes up on the fly.

It doesn't help that he looks like a miserable fish either.

Haven't been able to stand him since the moment I first laid eyes on him.

And while I have to give him some credit for doing a better job as manager than his predecessors at Liverpool, I still believe that he'll come badly unstuck at some point due to his personality defects.

In fairness, he's done quite well at Liverpool.

Think Coutinho, Mignolet, and Sakho will be seen as great purchases and he's gotten them playing decent football.

Those purchases have coincided with them taking on some Man City scouts IIRC, we all knew what was going on when King Kenny was around!

Rodgers, to me, is creepy in the sense that I fear he has body parts buried beneath the floorboards of his cellar.

That has been exacerbated by me watching Hannibal I guess.
