I think they did pretty well finishing in the upper half of the table during most of those seasons too. They've had a staggering amount of crap turning out for them.
Kalius/Matip signed. Possibly Zielinski.
Good start to the window for Pool. Still need more.
Well, they've signed players which is better than signing no one, but certainly nothing to bring them closer to us given we've already wrapped up a top player in Xhaka.
It's Karius btw not Kalius - which probably says alot!
Edit - that picture is too good! 😆
-----------Sturridge--------
--Coutinho--Firmino---Mane---
----------Can---Hendo-------
Gomez---Matip---Lovren---Clyne
------------Karius----------
Yeah thats a Europa league team. If Klopp gets them into the CL then he's truly a genius.
It really does look awful on paper.
Football is not played on paper though sadly. Their awful team drew with our seemingly superior team twice last year.
...and they finished in eighth place. We finished second.
Their attack looks much more exciting than ours tbh.
We have disgusting options Özil and Alexis aside.

We got battered in the home leg. Even though we should have had a perfectly good goal stand.
They're usually a team that are capable of putting together a good run. But then they'll become stale for 5 games straight against clubs who are lingering in the bottom half of the table.
Jury is still out but Klopp loves attacking free flowing football and their 4 attacking players are a good mix.
Thought I'd revive this thread with this beauty: http://www.arsenalnewsreview.co.uk/steven-gerrards-book-is-real-fast-moving-and-honest-just-like-him/
You could put this on RAWK and no-one would know it wasn't written by a deluded Scouser.
PS : This piece is about Arsenal. I hope you understand what I mean by that.
😆
Myles you twit.

Next Post: What does Myles mean when he says Gerrard piece is about Arsenal?
Myles "And remember, Thierry Henry is not a striker. He is not a goalscorer" Palmer
He scored only 20 goals in 103 games for Monaco. And he did nothing at Juventus. Henry is a right-footed left winger who is quick and skillful. He can also play wide on the right. Even Arsene Wenger cannot make Henry into a striker. So lets get that straight in our minds before we read any more ignorant tosh in the papers. Got it? Thierry Henry is a winger."

Why do I now worry about about Stevie G? Simply because he’s a working class warrior who thinks like a warrior and plays like a warrior and swears like one as well. Henry Winter’s decision to leave in a lot of swearing in the text makes it more true, more honest and realistic. The overall message of the book is : Success take time, it’s never easy, it’s a lot of ups and downs, you can learn slowly even as you rise rapidly. But local heroes are not worldly and playing for the LA Galaxy will not have made Steven Gerrard more sophisticated. That’s where he is now: a legendary footballer who has decided to stop playing and that is a hugely challenging life-moment for any player, let alone an action hero like Gerrard.
