Özil on the left isn't ideal, but him and Ros interchange a lot anyway, and as long we play 4141, and Santi plays, there's no room for Mesut in the center of the park, as we'd probably be to weak defensively.

If Alexis really is out, then Theo has to play regardless of Chambo's fitness, as the former's productivity is a must in a team with the likes of Santi/Özil/Ros, who aren't the best goalscorers.

Ramsey gets a "rest", and starts away against Spuds.

Comfortable win, 3-0. Theo, Giroud x2.

I never guess the right team so won't be disappointed at all.
I just think, like Brighton, Villa is the type of team Rosicky can dominate.
We can still bring Ozil on for the last half hour to build up his fitness.

I said I "fear" that because neither Theo or Oz seemed anywhere near form. and without both
Al&Al out, our only real burst through the wings is Theo. Then there's Theo and Ozil to help D, we got spoiled with
the Al's good work in recent weeks.
I may be worrying too much, as it's "only Villa". But why even invite them to the party? Expose our FB's and they might actually have something to say in this game, which is - should be - ridiculous.
I tend to thing: Coq, Cazorla AM, Theo and G too must play. Rambo or Rosicky? I know for the Weng Rosicky or Oz on the flank is also a thought.
It's quite simple, really: Alexis must play 🙂 (no, not serious - if there's even a slight doubt he shouldn't be risked. We really should turn these guys over with Gabriel as a lone striker). BTW - gut feeling it's time for a good Rambo game (I mean - really good).

rosicky is a 1 in 3 performer tbh, he won't be a huge miss if he's on the bench. lets rein in the tommy love just a tad. he's a great squad player, but imo not worthy of nailing a spot in the first 11.

Just feel that we may as well take advantage of his good form before he breaks down again.
Also could your 1 in 3 figure be due to lack of regular play?
Apart from Solskjaer, i don't know any player that has maintained decent levels of performance without regular play.

As for Rosicky - he has a 6-8 game brilliant streak in him, enough to be useful while we're waiting for Özil and Ramsey to get fully back up to speed.

He has saved many people from completely losing the plot.. Before every game people were suggesting him to be rested, but Wenger, the über-troll wasn't having that. 😆

We couldn't afford to rest him earlier on this season given our injury pile up, at least now we have Theo, Özil, Giroud and Ramsey available again.

Yeah, ironically he got injured after he was, sort of, rested.. But, the guy wants to play every minute, and it's hard to blame him after his time at Barca, where he didn't play enough.

He's an animal, mad for football, I imagine he's miserable on the bench.
Best to leave him out of the match day squad completely if we want to rest him.
