Yes Rosicky was 4-7.5/10 preformances and as many of each. Just a really erratic player preformance wise.

Cazorla was 8/10 preformances for 6-7 games in a row then maybe one 5/10 then another 6-7 games of solid 8/10 preformances. That's why he was immense. Rosicky was silky but erratic preformance wise, but when it really mattered his final ball or shot would really let us down. I'd say he killed everyone in training with less presure.

Imagine Cazorla in training though? Nearly every 'Teammates' interview on YouTube has Arsenal plays gushing over how good he was in training.

Yeah but it's weird based on their performances this season, Cazorla would still have been our best CM and Monreal is still better than Kolasinac.

Although for the latter it speaks more about the quality of our current squad. Absolute gutters

The biggest shame was the lack of intelligent players we surrounded those guys with. We had a real chance to build on something. It was like watching g veron at united he wanted to play intricate complex patterns and could see the game unfolding in his head. But Scholes has ways been an early ball to thr flanks kinds of player and butt and keane werent those kinds of players either. Venon and cesc and you would have had something spunk worthy. Some of the moves monreal tried to work out from the back were genius but the players around him couldn't read the situation until after they'd messed it up. It took Montreal ages to settle into the league and dumb his footy down.

Definitely. Monreal especially had become as much of liability as the fools we have in defence now.

In my opinion it's impossible to tell if it was the right time to let Cazorla go. At the time nobody could've foreseen that he would play like he's doing right now though.

Having Cazorla back in the coaching staff is one of the things I'm pinning a marginal dose optimism on (if it happens). A relatively low cost addition to the squad that can produce greater returns.

I'll be thinking of Nacho when the semi final against City rolls around. I already have. Not only for his goal in the Community Shield but that he proper fucking turned up against City multiple times.

Koscielny, Cazorla, Monreal.
They are all grandfathers and pensioners.
It was the right time to let them go.
It's what we deemed fit to replace them with that was the problem.

That's not quite accurate. It was when he finally was fit that he left. He left after the 17/18 season and played 35 league games the following season.
