Where are all these ex-Arsenal greats doing big things, or anything for that matter, at other clubs? Vieira himself is managing in the MLS, big deal, but at least he's actually in football, and then there's Bergkamp at Ajax - the club closest to his heart.
Just as with Steve Bould, who is now Arsene's right hand man lest we forget, the opportunity is there for all of them if they want it, but for the vast majority, and certainly the Englishman, the lure of cashing in on their profile post-football and getting paid to put their feet up and talk about football is greater than getting your hands dirty on the training pitch.
I have never heard Bergkamp say a word in criticism of Wenger or Arsenal, personally, and, whilst it seems like something Keown might say, I've never heard him say that anything like that myself.
