This one should be doable if Wenger can agree on the price. He would definitely be first choice, even if not immediately then within 6 - 8 months and get a lot of playing time, so don't see any reason why he should go anywhere else - just the fact that Southampton are likely to hold on for a big offer I guess, let's see.

I just think the Schneiderlin train may have passed; I think we'd have to pay way too much more than Wenger is prepared to spend after Southampton has already sold Shaw, Lallana, Lambert and possibly Lovren. This should have been done prior to the WC if we were serious about signing him.

I like Schneiderlin but I get the "hmmm he's not super quality" thoughts

No top tier strikers within our reach and wengs said no more forwards coming in, so here's our opportunity to get the most boss midfield in Europe

Putting Khedira in the same bracket as those three is overrating him. He's very good, and a class above Arteta. Vidal (and soon Pogba), even better.

Khedira is a better player than both Martinez and Pogba IMO, so that doesn't make much sense.

Pretty equal, so I shouldn't have included Martinez. But Pogba is still in another bracket because he's 21 years old. (Hence: Soon Pogba)
