Polish DM at Sevilla, apparently having a great season after signing for them in the summer. Think he's been mentioned in the wish list a few times too, sounds like exactly what we need in that position.

On my phone so I can't post tweets, but he's tweeted this morning that he's signed 'an agreement' with an English club, who will be announced later today (what a drama queen). Consensus seems to suggest that it's us.

Although some are claiming he's playing a 'Spanish April Fools' prank. 😆

Spanish media reporting we've agreed an 18m fee with Madrid for Khedira

Confirmed to be April fools for the Khedira one.

Please be true.

No chance, he'd kill Flamini.

Actually, I think there's a good chance he might. Literallly. 😆

Looks like a player, doesn't he?

Seen him a few times. Too limited on the ball to be of any use to a top team IMO. Pass.

Too late tactics, he's already here.

Blink and you'll miss him though.

Krychowiak isn't good enough for us. Wanyama-esque, useless on the ball.

While I agree that we should get a better player in, there is no controversy in being of the opinion that Wanyama would walk into our midfield...

There are a lot of players better than Flamini. It doesn't mean they should all be on our transfer list. We need players who can bring us to the top of the PL. Top 4 really isn't in danger this season and a serious contending run this season is not attainable, so IMO there's no harm in waiting for the summer to find the right player.

Oh, I agree with all that. Except for the waiting until the summer part. I wouldn't be against paying over the odds a bit to get a top class player in right now. However, the last thing we need is to buy any more mere decent players.

Whilst it sounds logical the problem is that is all AW ever seems to do - wait.
He's seemingly pursued a number of CMDs these past 3 summers and failed to pull the trigger as yet, and I have no faith he'd do so in a third.
AW's continued position should be determined by what he does now in this season ahead of any future summer opportunities, as he's continuously left the team short whilst spending funds on luxury type players.

Who are these luxury type players you are talking about?
