That wasn't actually in reply to your dream scenario Rex, I only read that post just now 🙂

If it were up to me I'd take Reading in the QF, Blackburn in the SF, and Bradford in the final.

bantams banter v.s. tuesday club on a live cup final podcast would be fun

Any home tie for me in the QF will do.

Home against Reading will be lovely.

But the semi-final will the game we really want to avoid the big boys, it's sandwiched between the two CL quarter final games. In a way it might actually be better to play United/Liverpool now.

It is actually best if other teams knock them both out so we avoid both.

That's asking for too much isn't it?

Comparing our this year's run so far to last year, last year we really had it bad. Liverpool, Spurs, Everton.

The draw is at 19:30 GMT tonight btw, for anyone who wants to watch it.

Dunno. It is quite possible by the looks of it. Both Man U and Liverpool look like they can be knocked out by anyone.

dream draw is reading at home and liverpool/united drawing each other, assuming united wins today

Don't really care who we get as long as we dont have to go to Anfield or Old Trafford. While Sanchez, Ozil and our defence are fit, I think we can take one of them at ours. Also would make it a more satisfying cup win if we do go on to lift it.

There's actually a good chance of United not winning today I reckon.

Against Preston? I'm sure they'll be fine.

The ideal draw would be Liverpool away to West Brom and us at home to Preston.

Ideally though, ideally, we'd be given a pass to the final.

Naaaahhhhh. I enjoyed yesterdays game. I could sit through another couple of games of us dominating some lower leaguers.

Falcao FGS and Man Utd win at 9/2
Di Maria FGS and Man Utd to win 11/2.

If they score, Man Utd fans will claim they've been worth the money as they're quite precious about it. Bit like us with Ozil last year.

Man Utd XI vs. Preston: De Gea; Valencia, Smalling, Rojo, Shaw; Blind, Herrera, Rooney; Fellaini; Di Maria, Falcao. #MUFC

Is that a back 5 with Blind at CB? 5212?

I don't even think LvG will know the answer to that.
