He really does say things he never used to say. This "hypothetical, 10% maybe" is talk we only ever used to hear when he needed to explain something in retrospect. Explaining how he thinks, prioritizes - think he's in a corner there. Perhaps wants "to let the fans know he does care" or such.

You'd have to be blind to think that Wenger doesn't care though. He visibly suffers from every defeat, and his dedication and love for the Arsenal has never been in doubt as far as I am concerned. He simply seems unable to fix what is wrong, and he isn't the best man for the job anymore.

Looks like Wenger announced his starting eleven and also the bench. I have seen no news on Arsenal.com and twitter official account about pre-match conference. Why did all the journalist know?

Abit disappointed that we still have so many first teamers starting. I would have rested Ramsey and Chambers too.

Think it will be Debuchy on the left. Pretty sure he has played on the left for Lille. Hope Joel have a superb game.

hope bellerin plays on the left and that is his future position for us (with jenkinson on the other side so we can accommodate both)..there arent many good left backs in the market, we dont have any promising kid there...and his offensive game is more about runs with the ball than crossing anyway

Campbell, Sanogo and Podolski is definitely an attack that I'm curious to see in action.

Wenger said Bellerin will play at LB. Unfortunately, he also said Alexis has been playing with a groin injury for some time.

I liked that he also said that Akpom is 'very close' to the first team now. To me, he looks a much better player than Sanogo.

Looking forward to the front trio, might be a 442 though with Chambo and Joel on the wings.

debuchy coming back is a boost. he's not elite but he's experienced at the position and overlaps consistently

With two 19 year olds in that back 4, Debuchy should absolutely focus on defending well. Same goes for midfield. Mindset should be to play for a clean sheet, and take a goal or two if the chances present themselves. It would be very arrogant to travel to Galatasaray's home with this team and go out there looking to dominate the game.
