My theory is that signing a center back in the summer was a top priority for Wenger but he fucked up.
The race for... 4th - 2014/2015 edition

He's very pointy if anything

Nice pic Est I think it twitched.
Pesky spurs. They now look a shoe in for top four. Kane and eriksen on a mission

Mikaël Silvestre says hi.
pity we took so long to get our shit together; looks like spurs and pool have done the same. euro disney and CC should put a dent in spurs form though
Yup, we're in a right battle now. Man Utd have it easy for the rest of the season and those other two have recently started to hit their top form. Liverpool have Sturridge back but were looking a lot better even without him recently. Need to get our arse into gear quick time or this might be a bit of a struggle! Read today that this season we haven't won more than 2 PL league games on the trot, shocking stuff.

Touche.
We will easily finish 4th, if not 3rd.
2 points dropped by both Citeh & CFC = could not be better.
I'm not worried about Liverpool or Spurs, I'm worried about Southampton. Even if we win today and they lose we're still behind them (unless its a big goal difference swing). And they're as likely to beat Swansea at home as we are to beat Villa.
Have you seen their upcoming fixtures, qs? Points will be dropped.

Doesn't seem to be a big difference between their fixtures and ours. Plus they played Chelsea, us, Utd in a row over December/Jan and got 7 points. Their 2 away fixtures are the only ones they're not favourites there. We won't be favourites in our 2 away games plus Chelsea at home.
shampton will run out of goals and drop too many points in close games imo. you need firepower to keep pace in this league
I think they'll come close and won't Finish lower than 6th.
Our next 6 league fixtures all in London with Spurs the toughest team. We really need to aim for 15-16 points in that period to put us in position to challenge for 3rd
Fuck third. With enough momentum we can push for the title.
No reason why not.
Always aim for the highest.
Always good to be positive, fons, but seriously... we need to win each our next 5 games with Chelsea drawing each of theirs for us to catch up with them. Realistic aim is for a good third in the league, top 4 in the FA Cup and top 8 in the Champions League.
2nd could happen if City don't get out of their funk, but we also need to contend with United in the process. Pool and Spurs are still around. This is definitely our toughest season since spaghetti-gate
I was honestly thinking before the game that we'll finish 2nd. I found myself more excited for this game than any Arsenal game since Fabregas left. It did not disappoint.
