I think their defence has improved relative to previous season, Alves and Pique have been in very good form.

When has Pep ever played on the counter? They'd have pushed numbers up regardless.

Robben and Ribery would have provided better bite though. It was a pretty evenly contested game, but Barcelona looked far, far more dangerous in the final third. Those two out is like Barcelona being without Messi and Neymar.

Bayern have much, much better squad depth than Barcelona. Barcelona don't really have much else than their eleven players. Luckily, they're virtually always without injuries.

Only watched a few Barca matches this season but Messi and Neymar seem obsessed with finding each other. They kinda ignore Suarez.

I guess it says a lot about Neymar that Messi wants to give him the ball.

They aren't at all. Neymar is much more inconsistent with his finishing than Suarez.

Who cares. Just feels unfair that a team can have three forwards of that quality, especially when one of them is playing at the highest levels I have seen someone display in my three decades of watching footy. Anything less than the double for them will be shocking. If this is what they do to Bayern, I fear for the team from the other semi.
