Chelsea?? Their defence is shite and slow. Barca's attack would smash them to pieces.

Also I fancy Barca against Bayern, the latter are vulnerable to counterattacks, and going by how deadly Barca are on the break I think they'd beat them.

As for Real, they'd have to up thier game considerably. Messi will have a field day against them this weekend.

barca and bayern still look like the teams to beat, followed by real if modric gets back in the groove. juve, psg, and atletico are all capable of an upset. should be some cracking quarter finals

He's just so poor.

I think the way both Kompany and Ozil are viewed in England says everything about English football. One is all action, big, strong, cocky and aggressive, the other is calm, intelligent, humble, a real team player....one is utter tripe and has been for years, the other is the most creative playmaker in Europe and has just won the World Cup....which one gets invited onto MotD to offer his insights and heralded as some sort of man God, with all his mistakes glosed over because he shouts a lot? Joke.

Hate to say it but the guy's been found out as not a particularly good coach this season. Despite all of their injuries - which have been as bad as it gets - they've still had a more than decent team out most weeks and he's just not been able to get them to win football matches. He needs a superstar player like Reus to give him that advantage. I wouldn't want him as Arsenal manager post Wenger.

Harsh. He has turned their league form round and they are no longer in the relegation zone but you do have a point.

Reus came back fired up and playing fantastically and their fortunes changed. They're still horrifically poor at the back and now Reus has dropped off a touch they're not winning games again.

His team really look toothless yesterday. Remind me of when we are at our lowest in 2011. Totally devoid of ideas. Basically this season is the season their team have the most possession but worst results. They are not used to playing on the front foot, they prefers to counter.

Give it another season or two and then judge him. See how he bounce back from this. If he can, he is the real deal.
