By the way Pep's Barcelona may have been the better team but this one is definitely more fun to watch. Direct skillful football as opposed to million passes tiki taka for 90 minutes.

Agreed - also they are more vulnerable making games more interesting

Juve look like a bit of a dark horse this year. I wonder if they could upset one of the Spanish giants. There's some genuinely impressive depth in that squad. So much experience. Pogba went off injured and Vidal and Marchisio are playing better for it. Pirlo is absent too and they're still bossing it up.

You rate Allegri now? I think he's been impressive at Juve, changed Conte's very successful formation and made them even harder to play against. Juventus is tactically so flexible this year.

Morata is abit raw but so much talent there. Perrerya has kicked on well since his move too.

Meanwhile, Pep reacts to the nutmeg. 😆

Hopefully Dortmund wake up, but they have absolutely no presence up front, and it's killing them, like it has done many times this season.

Always hated him when he was here, even though he had a following of Arsenal fans. The guy slows everything down, takes 2302 touches and then passes it off to the nearest fullback. He was great for half a season, and that was it. Looking back, I can see why Wenger thought he could play in central midfield. Wouldn't be too dissimilar to Cazorla, without the passing ability.

I don't rate Allegri much, but I rate the squad he has at his disposal. He does bring a bit of roughness to the side. There's a transitional phase now that might last a season or two where they look pretty complete as a result, but give him enough time to mold them and he'll phase out the genius playmakers and turn them into flat-track bullies instead, like he did to Milan.

I like Morata too. He seems like a future top player in the making.
