Absolutely. I think if he'd gone to Real Madrid he'd be widely recognised as the best centreback of his generation by now. There aren't that many great ones around right now, and he's head and shoulders above anyone else I can think of.

Instead people will remember the bad games he's been involved in. Like being part of the Brazilian side that got embarrassed at home in the World Cup. Or when he was playing like shit when we faced Milan a few years ago.

PSG definitely did not 'fully deserve' it. Full of horrible players constantly manipulating the ref.

It's also funny, because there are barely any English players involved. I don't think you can build a PL ready team who can also play great in Europe. It's either one or the other.

I was really impressed by how confident and calm PSG's passing was. Tight spaces, crowded areas, their own defensive third - nothing really fazed them or forced them to hoof it. Really wish we could get back to those levels of control again.
