  • Radamel Falcao (Combined cost OF wages AND loan fee is 20M)

Won't somebody please think of the WAGES!

20M as just a loan fee is ridiculous. Maybe if Monaco offered to pay his wages it would make more sense.

If we could just crack the wages question we could get falcao! How hard can it be? Wenger out!

someone needs make it clear whether the wages are included or not. in case they're not, i could start a new thread: "falcao, combined wages + loan fee of 27m"

and we'd be covered both ways then

I feel so boring, but on the BBC Gossip page it links to a Spanish report (Calciomercato) saying Real Madrid have signed Falcao. Wages and all.

it's not settled until we find out what madrid is paying for loan fee + wages. i'm too invested in this now, i need the know.

Falcao's our deadline day madness, it's on.

If we sign Falcao I'll take it to indicate Wenger's rediscovered insane levels of desire to win the league, nothing will stop him 🙂

Wenger doesn't have any desire to make the squad as good as it can be

Yeah, Falcao seriously followed an account which tweeted this 😆

Falcao looks like he's 50 years old

:o

All the signs are there!

Edit: Except for the wages, of course.

this rumour is a waste of time. we lack the ambition as a club to go for this guy. like the chap who doesn't have the balls to step up to the hot girl at the bar

Yeah, right now some sources claiming he has signed for Madrid, other saying Madrid has rejected him. This most likely means they cannot agree on the wages, which means it would be smart to link him with a move to somewhere else.

He is 29, massive fee (which includes wages), i just cannot see Arsene going for either a loan or permanent solution with him.

mendes is trying to move him so there will be all sorts of rumours flying about. the inevitable chelsea link will pop up soon as well

Yep, never forget we're dealing with Mendes, the most powerful football agent in the world here. He rolls with the big boys and always gets shit done.

I suspect that Monaco can't actually handle his wages, and just want him off the books for now, with an option to take a permanent decision next year. They'll have to write him off, I suspect at that point because he will be hitting 30. If that's the case, they've probably come to an arrangement where they keep paying him, and the borrowing club just needs to pay them 20m pounds for the season. That way, he gets to enjoy his full tax-haven salary, and Monaco get a bit of a fee out of it on top.

Don't think Wenger has done business with Mendes before.
