Looked terribly out of depth at the WC. Sluggish and positionally poor. There must be something about him though with the hype he's got after last season.

Didn't impress at the World Cup at all.
He may be better on the ball than he showed but he is probably as slow as Arteta. Khedira and Schneiderlin are much better options in my opinion.

His agent is Jorge Mendes, his club is Sporting and his release clause is £36m. Not happening.
This guy is gonna be a top player. Unlikely but would be a serious coup. Carvalho-Ramsey two years from now is a CM that can compete for the Champions League.

Its a smokescreen for the impending Khedira signing. Sami is about to fly back from the holiday soon for his photoshoot and first interview and they want us to keep busy until then.

In the one full game that this guy played in the World Cup, he produced the slowest top sprint speed on his team. Even slower than that of the goalkeeper! He had really few sprints per minute as well. I think Wenger is looking for someone more athletically gifted.
