I think hatred may be overstating it Y Va. Its just funny and Brazil have been annoying. There is nothing to mitigate the schadenfreude either, no character in there to feel sorry for, no gooner or ex-gooner in the ranks.
It has been OTT as, for some reason, they were hated right from the start. Unusually for a team that isn't a defending champion, everyone seemed to be against them, even before a ball was kicked, as if they were responsible for FIFA's ills.

Personally, I just think it's a bit of a shame Neymar and Thiago Silva weren't playing, too. It would stop them having an excuse - they were total shit with both of them playing all through the tournament. Germany were just a proper team, the first one Brazil faced, and ze Germans predictably upped their game and took them apart.
Mustafi getting injured in their last group game was a blessing for Germany too.

Barry Glendening from the Guardian always has an anti-Arsenal agenda for some reason too.
