I can't help but feel sorry for some of the fans, though I was hoping Neuer would try his luck at scoring in the end 🙂

That was a mindblowing result, didn't get to see enough of the game to even begin to understand how Brazil could have been so completely and utterly dismantled.

Stripped of Neymar and Silva they were average but the result points to more than that.
I pity those Brazilian players to some degree because they will never live that down.
The Germans are the last team on earth that you'd want to face if you haven't got a plan, an inspiration or leaders on the pitch,

Left a restaurant and they were 2-0 down, got to a bar three minutes later and the guy on the door greeted us with "Jesus Christ it's 4-0".

That was like watching Arsenal in a big game; give away a cheap goal early in the match and just completely lose it after that.

That 2nd goal fucked up Brazil, they played like a bunch of amateur after that - unbelievable.

Think I read somewhere Germany didn't score from set pieces for years, Low never took them seriously, he had to be convinced by his assistant to work on them prior to the world cup and they've already scored 5 set piece goals so far. The opening goals from their last two games have come from corners. Hope Wenger takes note.

Their set piece goal today was fantastically worked out. It looked like poor defending from Brazil but someone blocked off Luiz.
