Yeah this could easily turn out another borefest. Argentina play some truly horrible stuff with Gago and Mascherano in midfield. Why not play Di Maria there? They really are super dependent on Messi and I think he'll drag them over the line again and into the final even. Shades of Maradona 1986 about this argie team.

I don't think Gago and Mascherano in midfield are not the main problems for Argentina.
Their CB, Rojo, is shit but luckily, for them, he got injured and may be replaced.
Upfront, Di left foot only Maria is Messi's only help.
I think the US game has helped Belgium find their best team and the Argies are in trouble if Aguero is still out.

I am supporting the Argies here. I think Di Maria is wonderful and the doped up midget is pretty good too. The Belgians have waaaaay to many scummy spurs players anyway, so it's not as if the choice is hard either. How can you support a team with Kompany, Chadli, Dembele and Vertonghen?

belgium need to bench fellaini. he destroys any semblance of rhythm they have in midfield, and he hardly ever takes advantage of his physicality.

argies should focus on the wings. alderwiereld is awful - just get the ball to di maria over and over again. messi should destroy vertonghen as well.

Agreed on Fellaini. Prefer Dembele or Defour, although the latter won't be in the coach good books now after the sending off.
