Theo can. And I know Alexis' finshing isn't known to be the best, but that's the type of threat I expect from him.

Having said that, I don't think I can make it through another season watching Giroud. He annoys the hell out of me.

What exactly did he contribute to those two cup wins?

He did fuck all in the WC and was the only player who played shit in the 7-1 mauling of Brazil.

The worst thing is where was Ozil against Bayern Munich? Complete bottle job that he had the following weekend off.

You guys can make all the excuses you want but it was no doubt he was a dud in 2014.

If he really is e world class player he is supposed to be he will own this season. Does he have the character to prove people like me wrong though?

I didn't want Fabregas because I was confident we were saving the 30m to get a central midfielder who was class physically with defensive nous aka Khedira, If we don't get that signing, then why did we pass up on Fabregas, at worst he would have given squad depth. If we don't make another 20-30m signing, then it's on Wengers head.

Hazard needs a manager like Wenger. Mourinho doesn't suit him at all.

A quality defensive midfielder will be more important than any attacking signing we can bring in imo. Still can't see us competing in big games unless we are a bit sturdier in midfield.

Well if we want to speak about duds in 2013/14 - Cesc was either utterly mediocre or not even considered good enough to start in teams that won eff all.

Nah we need a striker most. It's an area where we have zero depth and the first choice needs upgrading.

Agree. I'm hoping eventually down the line, Mourinho will have the same affect on Cesc.
