You said nothing about "making them do something that's perhaps inadvisable in the circumstances".
Seduction involves changing somebody's mind, persuading them, convincing them to want something, having their consent, approval even (depending on how artful is the seduction 🙂)
To say that "merely a matter of technique" distinguishes it from physically forcing somebody to do something against their will is just wrong.
