West Ham really bottled this season. They have dropped 4 points against Spurs and United by conceding last minute goals. Without it I would have backed them to challenge for the top 4 given their remaining fixtures.

Yeah, of course. Saints, Liverpool, Tottenham, United. In that order.

Man Utd not getting CL football would be best. We might be competing with them on a couple of summer transfer targets - maybe DM and CF. We all know we can take Tottenham and Southampton due to footballing reasons and Liverpool due to geographical reasons but Man Utd would just offer £20m more and get it done. No CL again, a couple of big players leaving (and hopefully a sacking) might help. Might not. Lets see.

Hoping for a draw between Southampton and Liverpool now. That way we'd still be 3rd and United would be pushed down to 5th.

A draw would be best, but I'd also take a Saints win. Liverpool have City next which they will lose if City are serious. Those two results could really put a dent in their aspirations. I don't mind finishing 4th if the 3rd placed team is Southampton

draws are always preferable.

southampton still have the luxury of focusing solely on the league, and they are still a decent side. id prefer to see everyone below us continue to drop points via draw when they play each other. except the spuds. i hope they lose every game from now till the end of the season.
