One year on, we can say for 8m he is an absolutely inspired signing. So many match winners now. He's a top quality player. Won't be at Spurs much longer. Not sure you can call it an inspired signing when he's the only real success out of £100m or whatever they spent. More of stopped clock being right twice a day sort of scenario.

My question from one year on still stands. 42m Ozil or 8m Eriksen a better signing? It's getting more and more one sided.
Is anyone else just waiting for the hilarity that will ensue when Lampard scores the winner?

😆
matic is like the football version of ivan drago
Ozil is still the better player. Not really a contest, but he needs to stop living off the glory of Real Madrid and Germany performances. He could easily become our Schevchenko the way things have gone thus far

That one isn't even close currently. I have faith in Ozil proving his worth over the next few years but Eriksen has been brilliant for Spurs so far.

I'd agree with that. There's no question Ozil is the better player, but Eriksen has produced much more and more value for money. The amount of points he won for Spurs is unreal over these 2 seasons.
Yeah, he's a match winner. Understands what is asked of him when games are close (free kicks, taking shots after a touch or two, etc.)
C'mon Fatboy, score the winner
Chelsea playing for a draw at home. Not a single shot since they scored.
Navas is such a pointless player. Poor man's Kilbane.

It's as if he doesn't know how to cross 😆 i think all of them have hit the first man in the last 10 minutes!
i guess that is the best result for us.
citeh still catchable, for sure
Navas was a waste today. Nothing here to make me miss Sagna either. Each team really missed its main central midfielder. Devoid of ideas without Toure and Fabregas
I could have snuffed out Navas today he was that predictable.

i think you should be more concerned with Spurs, Southampton, Liverpool and United before you start targeting City
Chelsea are such a cowardly team

Fixed!
Chelsea didn't have to win, City had to win!
either way I'd rather be a coward that gives no ground to my opponent and lives to fight another day than be thrashed 8-2 or 6-0 by a rival.

He is that predictable for his entire career.

He's still only 22 so with that in mind he's worth at least 30m.
