Mourinho hasn't really rotated his team much during the Christmas fixtures so not entirely unexpected. Well it is for them because the magic potion he uses to keep his players fit usually works! Heard Matic was pulled all over the game and Fabregas isn't really the player to fill in and plug the hole.
