Absolutely scandalous that that Jonjo Shelvey has been charged by the FA for violent conduct whereas Sterling has got away with nothing because the ref saw it. Why should one player get done because the ref didn't see it whereas another gets away with it because the ref is incompetent?

We were absolute idiots for not signing Cesc last summer. Said as much then, and it should be pretty damn obvious for anyone to see now. What's even worse is that we not only didn't sign him, we then made matters worse by paving the way for Chelsea to sign him. 🙁

Thats a key stat IMO. Some of the leagues top scorers there, no sign of our players. Welbeck has to shoot way more. You only score goals by being willing to miss plenty too.

Why highlight Welbeck? Sanchez isn't in there either.

We've been a side that keeps matches uneventful at both ends for a while now. Nowt to do with Welbz.

I agree with Qs; Welbeck needs to look for his own shot a LOT more than he does. I am surprised Alexis isn't on that list actually, and credit to Giroo for looking to finish moves more often this season.

The reason we don't have more players on that list is mainly Giroud being out. Sanchez doesn't lead the line most of the time.

I think Welbeck should look at Diego Costa to model himself after. Costa had played on the wing a lot and didn't break out until last year. Definitely agree that he needs to more aggressive and shoot more.

Costa has a first touch though. He's big but he can also make space for himself with his technique. It's so much harder when you need to touch the ball two or three times to get it where you want.
