Last season apart from 4 or 5 games we probably had the best defence in the league so easier to look good. When was the last time De Gea made a massive cock up in a game though? Even if he does he has won so many games for them and you can't hold every mistake against a keeper.

I don't agree with your assessments on Giroud & our GK but I do sometimes see where you are coming from, however that opinion is ridiculous imo. When they won the title he was among their top players so it isn't like he has just become good overnight. Bottom line is he has kept improving since joining Man Utd, he had a dodgy spell in his first season and for some that opinion has stuck. Since that rocky period he hasn't looked back once, has won loads of games for them and no coincidence he has become Spain's No.1 keeper and R.Madrid are interested.
I look at our GK and he hasn't improved at all for 2-3 years. The quicker we replace him the better, either that or we need to bring in a different coach who can improve him. Sad thing is I had high hopes for him when he broke through but he hasn't improved much since.
