Hope Germany put the winner of this to the sword
Don't see what the fuss is all about with james
Brazil still not getting half the yellow cards they deserve.
Fernandinho is so dirty and cynical.

Yeah, they aren't.
The referee has to do more to protect Rodriguez. He's getting targeted by Fernandinho. Some really ugly challenges from behind in the first half, most of them card worthy.
😆
Betfair offering 20/1 for Colombia to turn this around in the next half. Don't fancy it but crazy odds.
Looks like he stepped on another rake.

It's disgusting to be honest. They might as well give the World Cup to Brazil.
That kick to the knee Hulk got was rough as well.
That Brazil midfield really knows the score. After that one instance where Rodriguez ran through them, they've got in there early. Catching him with an arm, using all the intimidation they can get away with.

It was the same in the first knockout round. Neymar deserved a yellow on three or four occasions but it would have meant a suspension in the quarter final so the referee just let it slide. I realise it's not the players' fault but all the same it makes you hope that they don't do too well.
Columbia have been rough enough themselves, lots of reckless challenges all around.
Speaking of preferential treatment, here's Rodriguez's freekick from the first half:
All Brazilian players are clearly behind the white line.

I was wondering how they managed to get so close.

think Colombia touched it to james first, allowing the defenders to encroach
Cuadrado has been extremely poor.
Hulks tongue is too red

Aye, it was an indirect freekick, but there's no way they made up that distance in a fraction of a second. They started their runs too early and the referee ignored it.
