What do you expect a creative midfielder to do exactly Biggus?
He had a decent if injury-hit season, I'd like to see him push up to around 20 league assists in 14-15, and stand up in a few of the big matches, and then he'll be doing his job.

On the contrary Tone, my opinion is not set, however, if Ozil does not impress this season it will be. Don't you think that its revealing that some people defend him by saying that Ozil "makes" other players better yet others defend him by saying that he needs better players around him? Fact is its up to Ozil himself to produce the goods himself as others have to also. Thats what I expect for 43 squillion.

Now that's fair enough and not many would disagree with you if you left it there, but you don't.

Luckily we have Ozil Ramsey smashing them in for us.
We understood it when you and Dag were trolling each other with Flamini/Ozil jibes but now it is just :hmm:
Heroic defending here
He needs to do a lot more in the final 3rd next season. His first season wasn't terrible but it wasn't impressive either. I want him to beat out the likes of Silva, Hazard, Mata, Fabregas, etc next season and show everyone he's the best number 10 in the league.
Laugh if the Swiss scored here.
Upset coming up

Well said. When people are discussing (somewhat fairly) whether he or Eriksen had a better season you know Ozil hasn't lived up to his and our expectations.
Well he's not going to catch the eye like Mata or Hazard even if he does more.
Doing better than Silva would be a good benchmark.
Worst game of the round. I dozed off at one stage.

Well Silva was last seasons best number 10 for me. Hazard played as a winger and was more of finisher than creator. Silva dominated games regularly though, that is what Ozil can do.
Djourou has been immense.
Scoring seems so much more difficult in this second round. Still having trouble deciding which team to support.
For such a big crowd, the atmosphere is dead.
What I meant is Hazard and Mata are direct ball-carrying, goal-scoring players, when they're doing well everyone will worship them.
Fabregas is nailed on to do better for Chelsea than Ozil did for us last season, so Mesut had better lift his game.
Looks like I didn't miss too much on the way to the airport and now able to watch the extra time here.
Swiss are crafty on the ball
Coming back into this game after a poor 2nd half
It's been brutal invis. How a team with so much attacking talent is so boring is a mystery.
think this argentina team could use a riquelme/aimar/ortega from that time
Terrific save.
After 110 minutes, i've decided to support Argentina, the team trying to score.
