Scandinavian countries don't share a leader. the home nations share a leader, passport, etc.
The whole of the EU share leaders and the same passport, would it make it easier for you Americans if they all played as one team?
what? so the french president is the president of germany?
maybe i'm wrong (cause it can be confusing sometimes), but isn't david cameron as prime minister the leader of england, scotland, wales and northern ireland? wasn't the last PM actually scottish? sweden, norway, etc are real countries that elect their own leaders. until scotland gets their independence, they are great britain. in the olympics there is no england, it's great britain. it's only because of football tradition why they even allow those other 3 to maintain this foolishness. it's a waste of time that great britain has 4 countries representing and accomplishing nothing in modern football when they could potentially be stronger together.
