Anyone put anything on yet then?

I rarely bet, only usually on special events like this. Had an old account I opened for the last World Cup and haven't used for a while so just went and put some money in to have a littl go.

What bets are looking good at the moment?

Not a betting man, but i wouldn't give you good odds for those options individually, unless you meant an accumulator bet.
I think this will be Messi's World Cup after the disappointing season he has had.
Kind of like Ronaldo in 2002?

Put $5 on the TAB "Bet of the Day" which was Neymar to score first and Brazil to win 2-0 @ 15.00 so that didn't work out. Also stuck a fiver on Neymar @11.00 and Higuain @ 20.00 for top scorer. Put $1 on Chile to beat Australia 5-0 @ 50.00 for tomorrow.

Not managed a winning bet yet, I'm terrible at this! Justification for only having a go for special events like World Cups. 😆

Someone here managed to win $113,000 from a $40 bet the other day. When for a multi of 4 half time/full time doubles and got them all. After hearing about that I tried the same with a $2 bet and got the first game wrong. In fairness it was Netherlands/Netherlands for the Australia game the other day so wasn't exactly a ridiculous choice! Can't remember the others I chose, didn't check it after the first one failed.

I'll give it a rest for a few days or I'll have nothing left in the account for the knockout rounds!

France continuing their trend of being brilliant one World Cup then atrocious the next, then brilliant, then atrocious the next. 1998, 2002, 2006, 2010 and now 2014. Put them down for bottom of the group with a shambles of in-fighting and revolt against the manager in 2018.

Went for Brazil to win on penalties so finally my first win of the tournament. Wiped out half my loss so far so finally moving in the right direction. Multi for all 8 teams to progress still alive too.
