Morata + Giroud solves our number 9 situation for the next 2-3 years.
The price is in line with monies invested in Martial. There is nothing particularly outrageous about 40m pounds when teams are making more than 2x what they were making when Rooney went for 30m.

That fact that all these stories are emanating from Spain and Italy gives me encouragement, though the root source for all of it could be his agent who has motivation to fabricate interest.

I'm inclined to believe we're interested though.
