Just google translated the text. His yearly salary is 12m Danish kroner which equals a little above £1.3m. Divide that by 52 to get his weekly wage and you end up with £25.000. Surprise, surprise the 52k figure is nonsense.

I believe that traffic violations and related incidents are. If so, it's calculated after taxes, social security payments and a basic living allowance of €255 per month have been deducted.

Gosh, I don't suppose that the uppermost Danish marginal tax rate is approximately £25000/50000 or 50% ... on that basis Segway's facts seem to support the £50k/w theory if anything.

Bendtner will find it hard to get a club that will meet his lofty ego/wage demands/status.

It's calculated before taxes.

Ok, it's gross income then, looks like you were right!

Very odd that salary has been a stumbling block for his departure.

He must have had some favorable bonuses, add-ons or something.

Bendtner is a stupid kid and deserves a slap for the way he's wasted his talent but I've never liked the way the press (Danish aswell as English) has gone for his throat and this ridiculous 52k wage rumour is a great example of that. It's like kicking someone who's already lying down.

We are most definitely getting atleast 2 attacking players.

I'll remember the goals against Dynamo Kiev, Wolves, Man City and Leyton Orient. And the massive ego.

You can tell it's the off season when we have three pages discussing Bendnter's bloody wages.

Fuck this guy and his silly wages.

I was willing to give him one last chance last summer but he fucked up and I'm done with him.

This guy's reaction to him being subbed on for Giroud sums up his final season.

Bendtner is shock number selection (3). What a bell end.

Cos he's getting 3k a week now.

Comments:

"Lord. Hope you score more goals"

"Bendtner ist so schlecht"

Absolute last chance saloon for him. He's lucky a team like Wolfsburg would take the gamble on him but he can easily prove to be more than worth it.

wow. So Wolfsburg signed him up as a fullback.

When players come dribbling towards the goal, Lord Bendtner will pull his shorts down, and they'll run the other way!

To be fair he is an excellent defender

Scandinavian strikers are such a kryptonite for Arsenal. Both Bendtner and Carew knocked us out of Champions League twice.
