Clear agent talk IMO. Hart, Clichy, and Milner are the only homegrown players that get any playing time for City, they can't be considering selling him off.

Guardian are reporting this too. It's been too long since I've seen him regularly at CM, is he a serious candidate to take over Arteta's position? I like him, but he wouldn't fit any of the (already stacked) attacking midfield positions.

He will be a very good central midfielder for us. I am a fan. Could do with his quality and versatility.
City won't sell him and even if they did, I don't see why we'd be in for him unless Arteta & Flamini were on the way out. We've got lots of midfield options as it is.
Certainly not as fan as a winger. As a centre mid wouldnt be my first choice but I think he'd be good signing. Though mentality, hard working, experienced in the PL, been there done that and he's good on the ball too. We could do a lot worse.
dont see where he fits other than being a versatile squad player, which he already is at city. he'd only move for regular football, which i hope he doesnt get here
He's an alright player but someone we should be spending a lot of money on. Though I think this is his agent playing games to get him a nice contract at City, they need home grown players so won't let him go easily.
Rate him as a centre mid. We'd have sone serious energy with him and Rambo.
