Russia-Korea was the first game so far that has felt like a chore to watch, at least until the last 15 minutes or so when it started to liven up a bit. As funny as the howler was, as a fellow keeper I still felt sorry for Akinfeev. It's happened to all of us, just unlucky for him it was on the biggest stage. For me it was just a pre-season friendly. He just took his eyes off the ball at the final moment assuming it was in his hands and that's the most fatal thing you can do.
