World Cup has been amazing so far but I think we will have our first shit match when the Swiss take on Ecuador. Prob be 0-0 as well.

Hasn't been a bad game 🙂

Brilliant from Behrami, last ditch tackle in his own box to prevent a great shooting chance then rode a yellow card worthy tackle to send Rodriguez away to set up the winner

Ricardo Rodriguez sure looks like the real deal.

Switzerland deserved to win this game. Been really impressed with them. Shaqiri is pretty disappointing every time I see him though. Great work rate, but he's so one-dimensional that it hurts. They could have won this game half an hour ago if he knew how to look up and pick a pass.

Kudos to the ref for playing the advantage even if it was a clear yellow card foul.

Was thinking the opposite Klaus, thought Swiss weren't as good as I was expecting but Shaqiri was at the heart of the good stuff. May have a point on him being selfish though. Was impressed with how many men they had in the box. That RB we're linked with lichtsteiner had an incredible work rate. Let's get him.

Yeah, Lichtsteiner was the best rightback in Europe last season in my opinion. It's a no brainer if Juventus really are ready to sell him.

Wont Juve ask a lot for Lichtsteiner though ? Are we prepared to spend a huge amount of money on a right back ?

He has been a nailed on starter for them in their 3 league winning campaigns.

I wasn't that impressed with Drmic tonight. Don't see where the hype came from.

I wouldn't mind Behrami as well, he had a stormer.

Why doesn't Kos start for France? Makes no sense.

No Arsenal player in the France XI 🙁

I wonder, when was the last time that happened in a tournament?

Feel for Kos, but Sakho was always going to start after his performance against Ukraine. And I have always believed Varane is the constant at CB (see my line-up on the 1st page).

Digne could play his way into the team as the tournament progresses IMO.

They can fuck off then.
Hope they lose.

He only has a year left and doesn't want to extend his contract.

Sakho over Koscielny would be a sackable offense for most managers. The standards are pretty low when it comes to the French national team though.

He was terrific. First he made a crucial block in his own area and then he started the counter that preceded the second Swiss goal with a fifty yard run.

Sakhable offence 😃

good luck to @OlivierGiroud, Laurent Koscielny & @Sagnaofficial. Hope to see you in the #WorldCup quarter final ;-) #FRA #HON #Brasil2014

Mesut obviously didn't see the team sheet 🙂
