You must be hating football if you want Greece to win I reckon
Blimey Shaqiri Shakiri scored a fine hat trick
A lot of the big sides look good. Spain lost to the Swiss last time. Teams often lose or draw a group game and still win.
I still fancy the Germans. Dutch have been excellent. France look good.
I don't hate football. I just don't particularly like the current state it's in. It's all about athletes and football by numbers.

If we only sign one stocky, creative, midget, magician midfielder from group E, I hope it's him. We could do with his craft.
Funny you didn't mention it until England lost.
I came into this World Cup with optimism. Probably all those colourful adverts did the trick.
I'm not really fussed by England I just don't like the natural distain foreigner folk hold for us.

The magic dwarf, I hadn't considered him until now.

Ah Dula they don't, nobody here was giving England too much of a hard time. A lot of us even wanted them to get through.
Hmmm well maybe I just brace myself for it too much.

This is just another one of your clever jinxes, right?
No clever jinx here. I only do that when I'm bothered about who wins and doesn't
Still amazed that some folk believed I felt that sure spurs would win the league
Shaqiri was outstanding today.

Kos' performance was lauded and applauded post match. Happy for him that he gets to show his worth with France too. He deserves that starting spot.
He got hooked up for a chat with his Dad after the game. No mistaking his père 🙂
Amazing to think that he was playing in Ligue 2 as late as 2009.
Sakho on the other hand was absolutely terrible, I thought. He looked slow, clumsy and out of his depth. He looked the same way playing for Liverpool last season.
Koscielny was excellent and that while playing on the right side of defence. A lot of people have said he isn't as good there which was rubbish.
Not a game to judge his performance as Ecuador were ultra-defensive even before they had Valencia sent off. I am impressed Sakho managed to look shit in these circumstances.
I like the look of that Enner Valencia. He is a big lad, has pace to burn, seems to have a knack for scoring, and did you guys see his leap for that header against France?!
Bah, did you see Kos' leap over the top of him near the touch line?
