Twitter also saying that nothing of the sort has been said on SSN Radio.

Do not want. He seems like a talented player but he is in no way or shape world class.

Guys were not going to sign the second coming of van Basten this summer.

Remy will be more than ok.

He will be a great super sub for France this summer as well.

We need him even if we sign a top player as we have only two strikers on the books.

Yaya needs to play every week and should be on loan so we for sure need someone like Remy to come in.

I want Eeyore on the bench, not forming a partnership with anyone.

Better aim higher than Remy then.

a month later

His agent drumming up interest.

He can't be our "top" signing, but I'm not against this. Not a bad player, and one that could show more than he did before playing for us.

We need someone better than Giroud, he will give us an option for rotation and in keeping our centre forwards fresh but we won't see much improvement.

Last season we needed an upgrade on Arteta and we got a player only of a similar level if not inferior.

If Remy comes it's impossible that another center forward will be brought in.

If we wanted him we'd have signed him already. I doubt there's any genuine interest in him, even as a fall back.

The reality is that until France get knocked out nobody knows anything. It's no surprise that moves involving English players are being finalised now. I don't think Wenger would put in money for many players before the World cup because there's a chance he could get seriously injured. If it was a special player, one whose stock could rapidly rise on the basis of the tournament or one which we face competition for terms of higher stature clubs than those would be the exception. Remy doesn't fit into any of those categories but he's a solid dependable player.

I'm fine with Giroud/Remy as our strike force but only if it means we concentrate our summer budget on a fucking class CM (DM) and RB.

Not okay penny pinching in more than one of our three big needs (ST, CM, and RB).

Remy is good. He's particularly good latching into through balls. His strengths match out midfields strength

It seems that way because Newcastle is afforded far more space than we are, opposing teams don't show them as much respect.

He is about as good as Giroud, surely not better. He will frustrate here like Giroud does. Like I said, the only plus is two strikers of similar quality level who can be kept fresh through the season but we won't move up a level.

Remy is meh. Wenger's looking for a Wiltord when he should be looking for an Henry.

Remy is a different style player to Giroud but a similar level. If we sign him then we need serious world class on the wing and at DM.

Alexis and Remy, I would be happy.

Remy will not improve us. Pointless signing.

😆 Wouldnt improve us 😆

Fuck me, the transfer window really does bring the best out of people.

How is bringing Sanogo on after 75 minutes better than bringing Remy on.
