IF we do win, we'll be playing in the charity shield game. Last time we played Crespo took the ball to the corner flag to waste time at the end. Could probably do without an extra game but at the very least it'd be a good opportunity to practice not bricking ourselves against a top team.

Best community shield game ever was August 1998 when Anelka rang rings around Jaap Stam. Chris Wreh scored in that game which if my memory serves me correctly we ended up winning 3-0.

Who remembers the community shield in 2004? A certain 16 year old Cesc Fabregas making his full Arsenal first team debut v Roy Keane.

Reyes nearly scored a wonder goal that game too when he ran past about 5 Utd players that day only to hit the post right at the end.

Love community shield, glorified friendly indeed but gets you proper in the mood for the new season.

Buzzing for tomorrow. What an amazing opportunity to get the club back to winning ways. And if we do win, a massive 'fuck you' to the media in advance for criticising the celebrations. I don't trust the rest the team but hopefully Ramsey turns up and kills the game in half an hour. Could do without the stress of going behind and chasing the game. Lets be smooth, Arsenal.

Plenty to trust about the team other than Ramsey. Kos Per Sagna Arteta always give a good account of themselves
