I was thinking Fabianski should start because he deserves it but he's going to be gone next year and wouldn't you rather have your number 1 goalie get a cup win under his name? It'll help in the long run imo.

It doesn't matter who starts anyway because we should beat the living shit out of this team .

Wengers suggested Fabianski will start, not a massive deal but if that was the case I would have started Sczcesny in the last league game rather than give it to Fabianski due to sentiment.

Don't know where you get that from. Just heard his press conference and he essentially said he would not respond to the question, but that the fact that Fab was out of contract at the end of the year would have no bearing on his decision.

When asked after the Norwich game about picking Fabianski he said "There is one week [away], it's possible that Lukasz [Fabianski] plays. But I haven't picked the team for next Saturday yet."

I imagine councils require advance notice of that kind of thing and it couldn't just be arranged on the day so that would be normal for a team in a final. Hull would have similar arrangements in place.
